Mark serves as Chief Operating Officer at Faraday Microgrids, overseeing all aspects of operations, project management, and strategic development. Since joining the company in 2023 as Vice President of Operations, he has played a pivotal role in advancing Faraday’s mission to deliver Easy, Affordable, and SMART microgrid solutions. Mark was instrumental in leading the largest renewable energy microgrid for an acute care hospital in the U.S., featuring a 2.2 MW solar array and a 9 MWh battery energy storage system at Kaiser Permanente Ontario. His leadership extends to current projects such as the Valley Children’s Hospital microgrid in Madera, CA, and the Tamalpais Pediatric Clinic microgrid in Novato, CA.
Professional Background:
Mark brings over two decades of experience in engineering, construction management, and renewable energy systems. Prior to joining Faraday, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Golden State Power LLC, where he successfully delivered renewable energy projects, including the U.S. Army’s first microgrid in Kuwait. Earlier in his career, he served as Engineer II at Kern County Public Works, where he oversaw infrastructure projects totaling over $200 million in value, including traffic pattern improvements, air quality initiatives, and ADA compliance upgrades.
