California commercial and industrial Microgrids

Lower your energy expense. Lock in the price. Backup included.

You are already buying power, why pay so much for it?

With a Faraday Endurance microgrid under PPA or lease, you pay less for it, lock in the price, and get backup power in the same line item. No capex. No new expense category.

Commercial microgrids productized for sites in California starting at about 200 kW in peak power generation and up.

A microgrid is not a capital investment. It’s simply an energy line item at a better, guaranteed rate, with a backup plan.

Most California businesses look at a microgrid proposal and see it as a major capital project. They think of solar panels, batteries, generators, and long payback calculations. For many organizations, that is where the conversation ends. A five- or six-year payback often cannot compete with other investments that support the core business.

But a Faraday Endurance microgrid is different.

With a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or equipment lease, there is no large upfront capital investment. Instead, the energy expense your facility already pays to the utility each month is redirected into a lower, more predictable payment to Faraday.

The result is simple. You gain reliable backup power and energy resilience while often lowering your ongoing energy costs. Both benefits are bundled into a single operating expense.

One monthly payment. Lower energy costs. Built-in resilience. No capital expenditure required.

How a Faraday Engagement Starts

1

Free Screening Call

Get a free 30-minute call to determine if your facility is the right match for a Faraday microgrid solution. It’s totally free and obligation-free.

2

Feasibility Study

A 30-day fixed-fee assessment will analyze your energy requirements, potential savings, incentives, and financing options before recommending whether to move ahead. The full fee will be refunded if you decide to move forward with the installation.

3

Build & Operate

From design to build and ongoing operations, Faraday manages your project. Under our power purchase agreement or lease, you pay only one simple fee.

Faraday Endurance provides solar, battery storage, and 4–12 hours of backup power with one operating expense.

Lower energy operating costs and keep selected critical loads running through 4–12 hour grid outages that are paid as one operating expense via PPA or equipment lease with no capex required.

Complements your current generator, reducing its usage.

Qualifies for ITC §48E at 30% until 2033, provided that construction starts or is safe-harbored by July 6, 2026.

Get your installation blueprint in 30 days, not months, and without having to perform a full-scale engineering assessment.

Designed for California commercial and industrial sites at roughly 200 kW peak demand and above.

Buy it as an operating expense. Not a capital project.

Most organizations choose to install a Faraday microgrid through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). With this approach, Faraday owns, operates, and maintains the system, while the host facility simply pays for the energy it uses. This allows businesses to gain the benefits of lower energy costs and increased resilience without a large upfront investment.

For organizations that prefer a different financing structure, leasing is also available. Some customers choose to purchase the system outright and own the equipment themselves.

Every Faraday Feasibility Study evaluates all three options so you can compare costs, savings, and long-term value. Our goal is to help you find the solution that best fits your financial and operational priorities.
